Cat's postgraduate study took place at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and subsequently at the Royal Academy of Music, where she studied with Peter Holtslag and Daniël Brüggen. She now performs as a soloist (recent solo venues have included St. Martin-in-the-Fields, London, New College, Oxford and the Greenwich International Early Music Exhibition), as a chamber musician (please see separate pages) and as an orchestral musician (recent credits include extensive work for Opéra de Baugé, Loire Valley; The London Handel Festival (Handel Acis & Galatea excerpts, dir. Steven Devine); Transition Opera/Wilton's Music Hall (Blow Venus & Adonis, dir. Christian Curnyn) and Camerata of London (Bach Brandenburg Concertos)).
