Flos Harmonicus is a medieval duo comprising Cat (voice and medieval harp) and Adrian Horsewood (baritone). They released their debut CD Excelsus in numine: music from medieval Europe in honour of the communion of saints on their own label, Moravian Records and are currently engaged in an important performance-research project for St. David’s Cathedral, editing and performing parts of the only extant source of liturgical music from medieval Wales. Recent activities have included recitals at St. David’s and at Jesus College, Cambridge, and a short tour comprising concerts and educational work in Derbyshire. Next is a recital at St. Olave’s, Hart Street in the City of London. Flos Harmonicus currently offers the Excelsus in numine programme and a programme of early English folk music entitled A Patchwork Quilt.
